Museum Untold Tour

Get ready to experience the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences in a completely new way. This two-hour guided tour takes you beyond what typical visitors see, as knowledgeable staff members share behind-the-scenes stories and point out hidden details throughout the exhibits. You'll explore both the Nature Exploration Center and the Nature Research Center with an insider's perspective, then wrap up at the Daily Planet Café where a beverage is included and you can chat with your guide and fellow tour participants. This experience is designed for adults—guests must be 18 or older to participate. Tours are intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 12 people per group, so you'll get plenty of attention from your guide. Tickets are $25 per person, or $20 if you're already a Museum member. Keep in mind that ticket sales close one hour before the tour starts, so plan ahead. If you're interested in a private group or team-building tour, the Museum also offers customized options.
