Nature Play Day at NCMA

Bring your little ones for a morning of unstructured outdoor fun at the museum's park! The event features a specially stocked play area with rotating supplies—think building materials for forts, dress-up costumes, puppets, bubbles, paint, and other creative materials. A play facilitator from Prairie Ridge will be on hand to join in and guide the experience, so kids can explore and play at their own pace. This free, drop-in program works well for children ages 7 and under (though all ages are welcome). Since everything happens outdoors, plan for the weather and don't worry about mess—getting dirty is part of the fun. You'll find supplies and staff available throughout the morning, so arrive whenever works best for your family. Just head toward the Welcome Center when you get to the museum.
