Nature Stories at NCMA

Bring your little ones to enjoy a morning filled with nature-inspired storytelling and hands-on exploration. The program kicks off with a story, then transitions into interactive activities centered on natural themes. You'll have the chance to venture across the Art Museum's grounds, so dress your family for outdoor exploration—the walks are generally stroller-friendly, making it accessible for families with younger children. This free program is designed primarily for children 7 and under, though all ages are welcome to participate. Plan to arrive near the Welcome Center where the group will meet. The whole experience runs about 45 minutes, giving families a nice introduction to nature without a huge time commitment. Since there's outdoor walking involved, come prepared with weather-appropriate clothing and expect to be outside.
