Nature Stories at NCMA

Free storytelling program featuring nature themes at the NC Museum of Art.

Your little ones will discover the magic of nature through storytelling and hands-on exploration at this family program held at the North Carolina Museum of Art. The session starts with a story focused on natural themes, then transitions into interactive activities where kids can engage directly with what they've learned. You may even take a short walk around the museum's campus to further explore nature in action. This free program welcomes children ages 7 and younger (and everyone else is welcome too!). Plan to dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes, as the group will likely head outdoors. Most walks are stroller-friendly, making it easy for families with younger siblings to participate. Just meet near the Welcome Center when you arrive. No registration is required—this is a walk-up program, so simply show up ready for an hour of nature-filled fun.
