NCMA to Go Art Kits: Sponge, Stamp, Soar / Kit de artedel NCMA para llevar: pinta con esponja, estampa … ¡y a volar!

Bring art home with this hands-on activity kit from the North Carolina Museum of Art. Pick up your kit at the East Building Lobby and you'll have everything needed to complete a creative project—materials, instructions, and all. This month's focus is painting and printing techniques, inspired by artist Helen Frankenthaler's work. Kids and adults of all ages can participate, and instructions are available in both English and Spanish. The kit is free with registration, making it an affordable way to explore art at your own pace at home. You'll work with sponges and stamps to create an abstract painting while learning about traditional printmaking methods. It's perfect for families looking for a screen-free activity that sparks creativity without requiring a trip to the museum itself.
