North Carolina Symphony - Mendelssohn Violin Concerto

The North Carolina Symphony is a professional orchestra that brings classical music to audiences across the state. This concert features Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto, one of the most beloved pieces in classical music—lyrical, expressive, and accessible even if you're new to orchestral concerts. Families will experience the full orchestra accompanying a solo violinist in this romantic-era masterpiece. Expect beautiful melodies, skillful instrumental playing, and a concert hall atmosphere that's formal but welcoming. Great for introducing children to live orchestral music and for anyone who enjoys traditional classical concert experiences.
