Open Maker Session at the Makery at Boxyard RTP (Ages 6+)

Your family can explore hands-on creative projects at this maker space designed for kids ages 6 and up, as well as teens and adults. During open sessions, you'll have access to all materials and equipment needed for your projects, with staff on hand to help with tools, setup, and brainstorming ideas. The space is clean, well-equipped, and welcoming to everyone. Sessions run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Children under 14 need an adult to accompany them. Teens ages 14–17 can attend independently if a parent or guardian completes and signs a waiver beforehand. Pre-registration is required, and admission is $10–$20 per person. You can purchase tickets and register through their website. It's a great way to spend a couple of hours letting kids tinker, build, and create in a supportive environment.
