Open Maker Session at the Makery at Boxyard RTP (Ages 6+)

Your kids can dive into hands-on creative projects at this open maker space designed for elementary-aged children, tweens, teens, and adults. All materials are provided, and trained staff members are on hand to guide participants through projects, help with tools, and spark ideas. It's a welcoming environment where safety and inclusivity come first—you can expect a clean, well-equipped space ready for making and learning. Sessions run across two time blocks each day (11 a.m.–2 p.m. and 3–7 p.m.), giving you flexibility in scheduling. Kids ages 6–13 need an adult present, while teens 14 and older can attend independently if a guardian completes and signs a waiver beforehand.
