Open Maker Session at the Makery at Boxyard RTP (Ages 6+)

Your kids can dive into hands-on creative projects at this open maker space designed for elementary-aged children, tweens, teens, and adults. During your visit, you'll have access to all materials and equipment needed for projects, plus staff members are on hand to guide you through tool use, setup, and brainstorming. The space emphasizes safety and inclusivity, so families can explore and build with confidence. Here's what you need to know before heading over: kids ages 6 and up are welcome, and all materials are provided. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult, while teens ages 14–17 can attend independently if a parent or guardian completes and signs a waiver beforehand. Pre-registration is required, and admission runs $10–$20 per person.
