Open Maker Session at the Makery at Boxyard RTP (Ages 6+)

The Makery at Boxyard RTP is a creative space where kids, teens, and adults can explore hands-on making projects together. During open sessions, visitors have access to tools and materials to work on their own projects or get inspiration from the staff. All supplies are provided, and trained staff members are on hand to help with setup, tool use, and brainstorming ideas. The space is designed to be safe, clean, and welcoming for makers of all skill levels. This event works best for children ages 6 and up, as well as teens and adults. Kids under 14 need an adult to accompany them, while teens ages 14–17 can attend independently if a parent or guardian completes a waiver beforehand. Sessions run in two time blocks (11 a.m.–2 p.m. and 3 p.m.–7 p.m.), and admission is $10–$20 per person. Pre-registration is required, and you can purchase tickets through their website.
