Open Maker Session at the Makery at Boxyard RTP (Ages 6+)

Your family can spend time exploring hands-on creative projects at this maker space designed for kids ages 6 and up, as well as teens and adults. During an Open Maker Session, visitors have access to tools and materials to work on their own projects or get inspiration from the staff. Everything you need is provided, and helpful instructors are on hand to guide you through setup, answer questions, and offer ideas as you create. This is a flexible option for families who want to drop in during available time slots without committing to a structured class. Kids under 14 need to be accompanied by an adult, while teens ages 14–17 can attend independently if a guardian completes a waiver beforehand. Pre-registration is required, and admission is $10–$20 per person. The space is kept clean and welcoming for all skill levels, with safety as a priority.
