Open Maker Session at the Makery at Boxyard RTP (Ages 6+)

Your child can explore hands-on creativity at this drop-in maker space designed for kids ages 6 and up, plus teens and adults. During your visit, you'll have access to tools and materials for various projects, with staff on hand to guide you through setup, answer questions, and spark ideas. The space is clean, well-equipped, and welcoming to makers of all skill levels—no experience needed. Sessions run in two time blocks: morning (11 a.m.–2 p.m.) or evening (3–7 p.m.), so you can choose what works best for your family's schedule. Younger children must be accompanied by an adult, while teens ages 14–17 can attend independently if a guardian completes and signs a waiver beforehand. Pre-registration is required to hold your spot. Admission is $10–$20 per person, and all supplies are included, so you don't need to bring anything special. Just come ready to create and have fun together.
