Open Maker Session at the Makery at Boxyard RTP (Ages 6+)

Your kids can dive into hands-on creative projects at this open maker space designed for elementary-age children through adults. All the materials you'll need are provided, and staff members are on hand to help with tools, ideas, and setup—so whether your child is trying something for the first time or building on existing skills, there's support available. The space is clean, well-equipped, and welcoming to all skill levels. Kids ages 6 and up are welcome, and the flexible scheduling lets you choose between morning (11 a.m.–2 p.m.) or evening (3–7 p.m.) sessions. Children under 14 need an adult to accompany them, while teens 14 and older can attend independently with a signed parental waiver. Pre-registration is required before your visit.
