Open Maker Session at the Makery at Boxyard RTP (Ages 6+)

Your kids can dive into hands-on creative projects at this open maker space designed for elementary-aged children, tweens, teens, and adults. The Makery provides all the materials you'll need, and friendly staff members are on hand to guide you through tools, setup, and inspire your next creation. It's a welcoming environment focused on safety and inclusion, where families work together to bring their ideas to life. This is a flexible way to explore making without committing to a structured class. Kids ages 6 and up are welcome, and teenagers 14–17 can even attend independently with a signed guardian waiver (younger children need an adult present). Sessions run in two time blocks throughout the day, so you can choose what fits your schedule. Registration in advance is required, and admission is $10–$20 per person.
