Open Maker Session at the Makery at Boxyard RTP (Ages 6+)

Your family will have access to a creative space designed for hands-on making and building. The Makery welcomes kids starting at age 6, as well as tweens, teens, and adults. During your visit, all materials needed for projects are provided, and staff members are on hand to help with equipment, setup, and brainstorming ideas. The space is kept clean, well-equipped, and designed to be welcoming for everyone. Here's what to know before you go: Children under 14 must have an adult with them at all times. Teens ages 14 and up can attend independently if a parent or guardian completes and signs a waiver beforehand. Pre-registration is required, and admission costs between $10 and $20 per person. Sessions run in two time blocks—morning (11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and evening (3 p.m. to 7 p.m.)—so you can choose what works best for your schedule. You can purchase tickets through their website.
