Open Maker Session at the Makery at Boxyard RTP (Ages 6+)

Your kids can explore their creativity at this open maker session, where they'll have access to tools, materials, and expert guidance to bring their projects to life. The Makery is designed as a welcoming space for young makers ages 6 and up, with staff on hand to help with everything from using equipment to brainstorming ideas. All supplies are provided, so families just need to show up ready to make something fun. Sessions run in two time blocks on this Saturday—morning from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., or afternoon/evening from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Kids under 14 need an adult with them, though teens 14 and older can attend independently with a signed waiver from a parent or guardian. Admission is $10–$20 per person, and you'll need to register in advance. This is a great option for children who love hands-on activities and want to spend time making in a safe, well-equipped environment.
