Open Maker Session at the Makery at Boxyard RTP (Ages 6+)

The Makery at Boxyard RTP is a creative space where kids, tweens, teens, and adults can explore hands-on projects and build new skills. During Open Maker Sessions, visitors have access to tools and materials to work on their own creations or try guided projects. Staff members are on hand to help with setup, answer questions, and spark ideas—so whether your child has a specific project in mind or wants to experiment and see what they can make, support is always available. This is a great fit for elementary-aged kids through adults who enjoy building, creating, or tinkering. All materials are provided. Kids under 14 must bring an adult along, while teens 14 and older can attend independently with a signed parental waiver. Sessions run during two time blocks on this day (morning and evening).
