Open Maker Session at the Makery at Boxyard RTP (Ages 6+)

Your kids can dive into hands-on creative projects at this open maker space designed for elementary-aged children and up. The Makery provides all the materials you'll need, and their staff is on hand to help with tool use, setup, and brainstorming ideas. It's a great environment for kids who love building, creating, and experimenting with their hands. Sessions run in two time blocks throughout the day, so you can choose what works best for your family's schedule. Teens ages 14 and up can attend independently (with a signed parental waiver), while younger children need an adult companion. Pre-registration is required, and admission is $10–$20 per person.
