Open Maker Session at the Makery at Boxyard RTP (Ages 6+)

Your kids can explore their creativity at this open maker space designed for elementary-aged children, tweens, teens, and adults. Drop in during your preferred time slot—morning sessions run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., or evening sessions from 3 to 7 p.m. All materials and tools are provided, and friendly staff members are on hand to help with setup, answer questions, and spark new ideas. It's a hands-on environment where creative projects come to life with professional support. Children ages 6 to 13 must have an adult present, while teenagers 14 and older can attend independently (with a signed parental waiver). Admission is $10–$20 per person, and you'll need to register in advance. The space prioritizes safety and inclusivity, maintaining clean, well-equipped areas for everyone to work together.
