Open Maker Session at the Makery at Boxyard RTP (Ages 6+)

During open sessions, they'll have access to tools and materials to bring their own projects to life, with staff on hand to offer guidance with setup, technique, and brainstorming. Everything needed for making is provided, so you don't need to bring supplies. The space prioritizes safety and welcomes makers of all skill levels. This is a great fit for kids ages 6 and up who enjoy building, creating, or experimenting. Younger children (under 14) need an adult with them, while teenagers 14 and older can attend independently if a guardian completes a waiver beforehand. Sessions run in two blocks—morning and evening—giving you flexible options. Admission is $10–$20 per person, and you'll need to register in advance.
