Playdate with Nature (Whiteville)

Your child can spend an outdoor hour exploring nature with a guided interactive activity designed to spark curiosity and connection to the natural world. A facilitator will lead the experience right in the museum's outdoor spaces, making it engaging for young learners. Just dress your kids appropriately for whatever weather comes that day—the program runs rain or shine through most conditions. No sign-up is needed, so you can simply show up and participate. This activity is completely free and runs for just 30 minutes, making it easy to fit into your day. The program operates year-round, though it's offered weekly during summer months. In case of severe weather, the museum recommends calling ahead or checking their social media for updates. If you have questions beforehand, feel free to reach out to the museum directly at the number provided.
