Preschool Story Time

Bring your preschooler or kindergartner to a half-hour session filled with stories, songs, and activities designed to spark a love of reading. This program welcomes children ages 3–6 and introduces early literacy skills in an engaging, interactive format. Sessions run just 30 minutes, making them perfect for younger attention spans. The library does photograph and video record events, so families should be aware of this if privacy is a concern. The program runs regularly throughout the year on Tuesday mornings at the Kids' Program Room inside the Chapel Hill Public Library. It's a great way to build pre-reading skills while enjoying time together in a welcoming library space.
