Public Tour

Join a guided exploration of the North Carolina Museum of Art's West Building and discover thousands of years of artistic traditions. This 50-minute tour showcases the People's Collection, featuring work from across cultures and centuries. Your museum educator will lead you through the galleries—they might focus on specific artists, highlight particular themes, or walk you through the basics of how we experience and interpret art. Since tours vary based on docent availability, each visit offers something a little different.
