Public Tour

Spend an hour exploring the People's Collection with a knowledgeable museum guide. This free 50-minute tour is perfect for families visiting the museum for the first time, or if you want to dive deeper into the thousands of years of art and cultural treasures on display. Your docent might take you through several galleries, focus on particular artists, or teach you about the basics of art itself—it really depends on their expertise and what interests you most. All ages are welcome to join in! Simply meet your tour guide at the public tour sign in the West Building when you arrive. Tours are free with general admission, and they're a wonderful way to enhance your visit, whether you've just grabbed lunch at the café or you're eager to learn more about what the museum has to offer.
