Public Tour

Join a guided exploration of the North Carolina Museum of Art's West Building. These free, 50-minute tours introduce visitors to the People's Collection, which spans over 5,000 years of art and culture. Whether you're visiting for the first time, stopping by after grabbing lunch at the café, or simply want to deepen your appreciation of art, this is a welcoming way to experience the museum. Museum educators (called docents) lead each tour and may focus on different galleries, highlight specific artists, or teach visitors about the fundamentals of art itself.
