Science Detectives: Pollinator Power
Hands-on science detective program exploring pollinators at NC Museum of Natural Sciences.
This 60-minute class invites children to explore the fascinating world of pollination through hands-on activities. Your child will discover how bees, butterflies, bats, and other animals play a crucial role in pollination, then participate in interactive games and crafts to deepen their understanding. Best of all, you'll have the chance to meet some of these amazing pollinators up close during the program.
This class is designed for homeschool and track-out students ages 5–7. Registration costs $12 per child ($9 for museum members). While this is a drop-off program, adults must remain in the museum during the hour-long session. Registration closes 48 hours before the program starts. For questions, you can reach out to Missy Chernick at the museum. Note that refunds are only issued if the museum cancels or if you request cancellation in writing at least two weeks ahead.
