SciREN Triangle and Educator Open House
Educator and family open house exploring nature at NC Museum's facility.
Are you a teacher or educator looking to connect with working scientists and refresh your classroom approach? This networking event brings together local scientists, museum educators, and partner organizations to share free, curriculum-aligned lesson plans and resources in a comfortable, informal setting. You'll have the chance to meet researchers doing real work in the field, learn about the museum's programs and field trips, and discover professional development opportunities that can help bring contemporary science into your students' learning.
What makes this event especially valuable: dinner and beverages are provided, you'll receive free K–12 lesson plans with digital access, and you can tour the museum's galleries while you're there. Whether you're a classroom teacher, administrator, pre-service educator, or working toward your environmental education certification, you'll find meaningful conversations and practical resources. Attendance is free but requires advance registration through the museum's website.
