Still. Moving: Spiral Woman as interpreted by Arts Together/Rainbow Dance Company

This performance brings a famous bronze sculpture to life through dance. Rainbow Dance Company, a multigenerational group of modern dancers ages 10 and up, will interpret Louise Bourgeois's *Spiral Woman* through movement, exploring themes of balance between strength and fragility, stillness and motion. The dancers create a physical dialogue with the artwork, revealing new ways to experience and understand it. After the performance, stick around for a discussion with Artistic Director Kathryn Auman and company members about their creative process and how dance, memory, and visual art connect. Admission is free, making this a wonderful way to experience both contemporary dance and museum art as a family. This event is part of the North Carolina Museum of Art's *Still. Moving* series, which reimagines the gallery space as a stage where past and present meet.
