Story Time at the Museum
Story Time at NC Museum of Natural Sciences—early literacy with science.
Join us for a free story time session at the Nature Exploration Center's Windows on the World classroom. This program is designed with little ones in mind—books are carefully selected for children ages five and younger. Each session runs just twenty minutes, making it the perfect length for young attention spans.
Story time happens during summer months on both Wednesday and Friday mornings. This is a low-pressure way to enjoy stories together in a museum setting. While the program takes place at a nature museum, please know that live animal interactions aren't guaranteed during story time. It's a wonderful opportunity to introduce your child to reading in a new space without any added expectations.
