Storytime and Playtime at Southern

Your little ones can enjoy a full hour of activities designed just for the youngest learners. The program kicks off with a 25-minute librarian-led session featuring stories, songs, and movement activities perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. After that, stick around for an additional hour of playtime with plenty of toys provided by Carrboro Recreation and Parks. Best of all, both parts of the program are completely free and don't require advance registration—just show up and join in! Kids do need to stay with their caregivers throughout the event. You'll find the activities in various rooms on the first floor of the library complex, and staff at the information desk can point you to the right spot.
