Storytime and Playtime at Southern

Your little ones will enjoy a morning full of stories, songs, and movement at this library program designed for toddlers and preschoolers. Library staff will lead a 25-minute session starting at 10:30am, giving young children a chance to engage with books and music alongside their caregivers. The fun continues right after, with a full hour of playtime from 11am to noon featuring plenty of toys provided by Carrboro Parks and Recreation. Best of all, this event is completely free and open to all—no registration needed. Just arrive and head to the first floor of the library complex, where staff at the information desk can point you to the right rooms. Kids must stay with their supervising adult throughout the program. It's a wonderful way to spend a Thursday morning while your child explores stories, songs, and play in one convenient visit.
