Summer Nights at the Museum of Life & Science ⭐️

Evening museum adventure with hands-on exhibits, butterfly house, and family fun.

Your family can explore the Museum of Life & Science during extended evening hours, with access to favorite exhibits plus some exciting new ones. Wander through the Main Building and Magic Wings Butterfly House, check out the climate-focused "From Here On: Shaping Our Future" exhibit, climb through Hideaway Woods treehouses, and walk the Dinosaur Trail. The animal encounters are a highlight—visit the wildlife in Explore the Wild to see newer residents like baby bear Montana and Red Wolf pups. For a more relaxed experience, hop aboard the Ellerbee Creek Railway for a sunset train ride or stop by the Train plaza for custom family caricatures with Penny's Playful Portraits. As the evening winds down, everyone can join in a Dance Party. The Sprout Cafe offers a limited food menu for purchase, and there's a pop-up bar with beer and wine available for adults 21 and older. Admission is $18 for members and $20 for the general public, with children under 2 admitted free. This is a great way to experience the museum in a fun, relaxed atmosphere without the daytime crowds.
