Taekwondo: From Beginner to Black Belt

Taekwondo: From Beginner to Black Belt

Introduction to Taekwondo from a local teen instructor at Orange County Library.

This event introduces families to Taekwondo through a presentation by a local teen who trains in the martial art. She'll discuss what the training involves, how students progress through belt levels, and what to expect if your family wants to get started. Her instructors will then demonstrate real techniques and skills, giving everyone a chance to see the martial art in action. The hands-on portion is the highlight—kids are invited to attempt board breaking (with parent or guardian permission). Whether your family has long been curious about martial arts or you're exploring something completely new, this is a casual, participatory event where you can learn, watch, and try things out. Registration is encouraged but not required; simply sign up once per family and note how many children will attend.
