Teen Advisory Group Meeting, Grades 8-12

Teen-led library group shaping the library for their peers.

The Teen Advisory Group (TAG) welcomes middle and high school students who want to contribute meaningfully to their library community. This is a peer-led initiative where teens collaborate on projects and ideas that benefit both themselves and other young people who use the library. It's a great fit for any 8th–12th grader interested in having a voice in shaping library programming and resources for their age group. This is a youth-focused program, so teens will attend independently—plan to drop off and pick up about 5–10 minutes before the session ends. The group meets three times during this session. Note that photos may be taken during the event for the library's website and social media; let staff know if you'd prefer your teen not to be photographed. For additional details, contact the Teen Librarian, Alexis Vreeland, at avreeland@orangecountync.gov.
