Teen Art Club @ South Regional Library

Drop-in casual art sessions for grades 6–12 at Durham's South Regional Library.

Is your teen looking for a creative outlet and a chance to connect with other young artists? The Teen Art Club welcomes middle and high school students for relaxed, social art sessions. Each meeting features an approachable art project that anyone can jump into, though you're welcome to bring your own sketchbook or work-in-progress instead. If you'd rather explore something different, the club provides a Teen Art Cart stocked with supplies for collages, origami, zines, and more—so your teen can pursue whatever creative direction appeals to them that day. The club gathers twice monthly in a dedicated space at the library, with a welcoming atmosphere that balances structured activities and creative freedom. Registration is appreciated but not required, so families can try it out without commitment. For questions about the program, reach out to Ezra, the Senior Teen Librarian who facilitates the group.
