The 21st Century Supreme Court

The 21st Century Supreme Court at 100 Library Dr.

Recent Supreme Court decisions have touched nearly every part of American life—from voting rights and elections to immigration and presidential authority. This panel discussion unpacks some of those major rulings, explaining what they mean and how they came about. You'll also learn about how the Court itself operates and what's shifted in recent years. The event brings together legal experts and scholars for an open community conversation. The panel includes a former judge, law professors, and a political scientist who will explore these complex topics together, with time for questions. This is a great opportunity for teens and adults who want to understand how Supreme Court decisions affect our communities. Registration is required through the Carolina Public Humanities website.
