The ICONS Tour

Your family can explore the NC Museum of Natural Sciences with an expert guide leading the way through the museum's most celebrated exhibits and specimens. During this hour-long tour, you'll discover the fascinating science and stories behind the museum's iconic collections. An experienced educator will highlight the best the museum has to offer, making it a great way to experience the highlights without having to plan your own route. This program welcomes visitors ages 12 and up, with all children under 18 needing to be accompanied by a registered adult. Groups are kept small, with a maximum of 15 participants. Tickets are $12 per person (free for museum members), and advance registration is required—ticket sales close one hour before the tour begins. The tour visits both the Nature Exploration Center and Nature Research Center locations.
