Volunteers Needed: Native Planting Event

Join a meaningful volunteer morning at Westwood Cemetery, where you'll help plant native species throughout the grounds. This is a wonderful opportunity to contribute to your community while making the space more beautiful and welcoming for pollinators and local wildlife. Whether you're an experienced gardener or picking up a shovel for the first time, you'll find a place on the team—no prior knowledge required. Spend two hours outdoors doing hands-on work that creates a real difference. You'll meet neighbors, learn about native plants, and leave knowing you've helped enhance a treasured local landmark. It's a great way for families to work together on something meaningful and see the direct results of their effort right away.
