We Are Stars Planetarium Show (Ages 8+)

Discover where everything in the universe—including you—comes from. This planetarium show takes families on a journey through cosmic chemistry, tracing the formation of hydrogen atoms all the way to the carbon-based molecules that make life possible on Earth. Narrated by Andy Serkis and produced by NSC Creative, the program connects what we're made of to the bigger story of how the universe evolved. It's designed for kids 8 and older, though families of all ages are welcome. Your ticket covers both the show and general admission to the planetarium's full facility. Before or after the presentation, you can explore exhibits showcasing UNC Chapel Hill research, watch live science demonstrations on the Science Stage, visit the gift shop, and let kids get hands-on in the Launch Lab.
