What’s in the Box?

What's in the Box? is a beloved program designed for preschoolers and their grown-ups. During this one-hour session, families will explore the Museum's galleries together, encounter actual artworks, and then head to the studios to make their own creations. The experience weaves together storytelling, hands-on art-making, movement activities, and interactive gallery play—all designed to help young learners (ages 3 to 5) connect with art in playful, engaging ways. Tickets are $12 for general admission and $10 for Museum members. Caregiving adults get in free, as do any siblings under age 3, making it an affordable outing for families. This is a ticketed event, so you'll want to register in advance. It's a wonderful way to introduce your little ones to the Museum and creative expression in a supportive, kid-friendly environment.
