Wonderkids - Summer Science
Hands-on science activities for kids at the library.
Your young learner will dive into hands-on science exploration through a story and themed activities. This month's focus is the sun—children will experiment and create projects centered around heat and light. The program blends reading, crafting, and discovery in a way that builds curiosity about science, technology, engineering, and math. It's designed for children ages 4 and 5, and caregivers stay involved throughout. Siblings are welcome to join in the fun.
The session runs for 45 minutes and happens in the Main Meeting Room. This is a recurring program, so it's a great way to build a regular habit of hands-on learning over the summer. Bring your child ready to explore, ask questions, and get creative. It's a relaxed, supportive environment where preschoolers can engage with STEAM concepts in playful, meaningful ways.
