Art on the Dot

Art on the Dot is a casual, accessible way for families to explore the North Carolina Museum of Art's collection together. During each session, a museum guide leads small groups through about three carefully selected artworks in just 30 minutes—perfect for younger attention spans or anyone who wants a focused introduction to the galleries. The program runs in three back-to-back rounds on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, with a short break between each, so you can join one session or stay for multiple tours to discover different pieces. Best of all, this program is completely free with general admission. There's no need to register in advance—just show up and join a tour when it begins.
