Incredible Science

Your kids can watch live science demonstrations and experiments during this half-hour program at the Nature Exploration Center. The content changes from session to session, but you'll typically see hands-on physics and chemistry in action—think inertia, buoyancy, and electromagnetism—along with fascinating natural science topics. One week might feature the surprising structure of beaver teeth, while another highlights why bird eggs are so remarkably strong. It's the kind of program that makes science click for curious minds. This is a walk-up event with no registration needed, making it easy to drop in when you're visiting the museum. It's designed for ages 7 and up, and admission is completely free. The demonstrations happen multiple times throughout the week at Windows on the World, located on the third floor of the Nature Exploration Center, so you can choose whatever time works best for your family's schedule.
