Incredible Science

Your kids will love this bite-sized science experience featuring hands-on demonstrations and experiments. Over the course of 30 minutes, presenters explore topics that rotate based on the day, with a focus on physics and chemistry concepts like inertia, buoyancy, and electromagnetism. You might also discover fascinating facts about nature—like why beaver teeth are so incredibly strong or what makes bird eggs so resilient and well-designed. This is a walk-up program, so no advance registration is necessary. It's best suited for children ages 7 and up, though all ages are welcome. The program is completely free to attend. Sessions happen multiple times throughout the week at the Nature Exploration Center's Windows on the World exhibit space on the third floor.
