Incredible Science

Incredible Science at Downtown Raleigh

Bring your curious kids to a lively thirty-minute program packed with hands-on science experiments and live demonstrations. You'll see physics and chemistry in action through activities exploring topics like inertia, buoyancy, and electromagnetism. The presenters also dive into nature's remarkable designs—from the surprising structure of beaver teeth to the incredible strength of bird eggs. There's something new to discover each time you visit, so the experience stays fresh across different days. This is a walk-up program, so no advance registration needed—just show up and join in. It's designed for kids ages seven and older, though families with younger children are welcome too. The program runs free of charge at Windows on the World on the third floor of the Nature Exploration Center. Whether your child is a budding scientist or just loves a good hands-on demonstration, this is an engaging way to explore how the natural world actually works.
