Incredible Science
Interactive science demonstrations at NC Museum of Natural Sciences Downtown.
Your kids will love this bite-sized science experience packed into just 30 minutes. Each session features live experiments and demonstrations that change from day to day, though you can expect to see cool physics and chemistry in action—think inertia, buoyancy, and how magnets work. The program also digs into nature topics like what makes beaver teeth so incredibly strong or why bird eggs are engineered to be so tough. It's the kind of hands-on learning that sparks curiosity.
This is a walk-up program, so no need to register ahead of time. It's designed for kids 7 and up and completely free. You'll find it at Windows on the World on the third floor of the Nature Exploration Center, offered multiple times throughout the week to fit your schedule.
