Incredible Science at Downtown Raleigh
Your family can enjoy a quick dose of hands-on learning with this 30-minute science show featuring live experiments and demonstrations. Topics rotate, but you'll typically see physics and chemistry in action—think inertia, buoyancy, and electromagnetism. The program also explores fascinating natural science, from the surprising structure of beaver teeth to the remarkable engineering of bird eggs. It's designed with kids ages 7 and up in mind, though all ages are welcome.
This is a walk-up program, so no registration or advance planning needed. Simply show up at Windows on the World on the third floor of the Nature Exploration Center. The session is completely free, making it an easy way to squeeze in some science learning during a museum visit.
