Incredible Science at Downtown Raleigh
Your kids will love this 30-minute hands-on science program featuring live experiments and demonstrations. Each session covers different topics—sometimes diving into physics and chemistry concepts like inertia, buoyancy, and electromagnetism, and other times exploring fascinating natural science subjects such as how beaver teeth are structured or why bird eggs are so remarkably strong. It's the perfect way to spark curiosity about how the world works.
This is a walk-up program, so no advance registration is needed—just show up and join in. It's designed for children ages 7 and up, and admission is completely free. The program runs regularly throughout the week at the same time slot, making it easy to fit into your family's schedule. You'll find it in Windows on the World on the 3rd floor of the Nature Exploration Center.
