Public Tour

This free guided tour offers families a wonderful introduction to the North Carolina Museum of Art's impressive collection. A museum educator will lead you through the West Building galleries for about 50 minutes, sharing insights into the thousands of years of art and culture on display. Tours vary depending on the docent leading the experience—some may cover multiple galleries, highlight particular artists, or focus on basic art concepts and techniques.
