Wu Fei & Shanir Ezra Blumenkranz

Wu Fei & Shanir Ezra Blumenkranz

Live music performance at NC Museum of Art's SECU Auditorium.

Experience an afternoon of live chamber music featuring two remarkable musicians blending Chinese, Jewish, Middle Eastern, jazz, and contemporary styles. Wu Fei performs on the guzheng (a traditional Chinese string instrument) and voice, while Shanir Ezra Blumenkranz plays oud, bass, and voice. Their collaboration explores themes of migration, memory, and cultural connection, growing out of a symphonic work inspired by Jewish refugees who found safety in Shanghai during World War II. This performance is part of Chamber Music Raleigh's popular Sights & Sounds on Sunday series, held in the North Carolina Museum of Art's intimate SECU Auditorium, known for excellent acoustics. Tickets range from $20 for students to $31 for general admission, with members paying $25. Free parking is available.
